Learner Intelligence
Learner Intelligence is a Pro panel on the Learners screen. It surfaces a prioritised intervention queue — learners who match one or more risk conditions — along with configurable thresholds and queue filters.
Summary cards
Four cards give a quick count before you look at individual learners:
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Intervention Queue | Total learners matching any active queue condition |
| High Risk | Learners with high_risk status |
| Inactive 30+ | Learners with no activity for more than 30 days |
| Unattributed | Learners with no marketing source recorded |
Intervention queue table
The table lists learners sorted by severity. Columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Learner | Name and email |
| Risk Level | Healthy / Passive / At Risk / High Risk |
| Inactivity | Days since last recorded activity |
| Progress | Colour-coded progress bar (red / amber / green based on thresholds) |
| Primary Reasons | Pill tags indicating why the learner is in the queue |
Reason tags
| Tag | What it means |
|---|---|
high_risk | Learner risk status is high_risk |
critical_inactivity | No activity for more than 90 days |
inactive_30_plus | No activity for 31–90 days |
no_attribution | No UTM source or landing page data recorded |
low_progress | Progress is below the critical threshold |
A learner may carry multiple tags if they match more than one condition.
Progress thresholds
The dual-handle slider sets your progress benchmarks:
- Left handle (critical) — progress below this value shows in red
- Right handle (warning) — progress below this value (but above critical) shows in amber
- Progress at or above the warning threshold shows in green
The handles enforce a minimum 1% gap. Drag both handles to set the zones that match your course expectations.
Click Apply to save the thresholds to the database. They persist across sessions. Click Discard to reset the slider to the last saved values without saving.
Queue override options
Three checkboxes let you narrow or reorder the queue without changing the base thresholds:
| Option | Effect |
|---|---|
| Only no-attribution learners | Restricts the queue to learners with no source data — useful for attribution audit workflows |
| Exclude completed learners | Removes learners who have completed all enrolled courses |
| High intensity focus | After sorting by severity, promotes learners who are more than 50% through a course but have gone inactive — the "invested but dropped off" group |
Pagination
The queue shows 5 rows per page. A footer shows the current range and total (e.g. "Showing 1–5 of 23"). Use the page buttons to navigate.
Typical uses
- Weekly retention review — Open the Learners screen, check the summary cards for any notable spikes, then work through the queue starting from the top.
- Post-launch check — After a course launch, use High Intensity Focus to find learners who started strong but stalled before completion.
- Attribution audit — Enable "Only no-attribution learners" to find everyone who enrolled without a recorded source. These learners represent attribution gaps worth investigating.
- Cleanup after a sync — Check the Inactive 30+ count after a sync to confirm stale activity data has updated.
